One idea was to check occasionally for a mouse taking up residence in the unit. Very polite gentleman, with reasonable pricing. I will ask them back when it's time to check the furnace! He explained the steps he was taking and provided me with a logical reason not to put off maintenance even for one year, he cleaned our unit, replaced a stressed capacitor and offered a reasonable maintenance agreement with optional terms.
